Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Customers may request an order cancellation before processing begins. Once an order has moved into the processing or shipping stage, it can no longer be cancelled. The details below explain exactly how this works.

When orders can be cancelled

Orders may be cancelled while they are still awaiting processing. If our team has not yet started preparing your books for shipment, we can stop the order and issue a refund.

When orders cannot be cancelled

Once an order has been prepared for shipment or handed to the shipping carrier, it can no longer be cancelled. In that case, please wait for delivery and follow the return steps if the item qualifies.

How to request a cancellation

    Reach out to Librivos Customer Support as soon as possible after placing the order.

    Include your order number so we can locate the order quickly.

    We check the status

    Our team confirms whether processing or shipment has already started.

    Cancellation approved

    If processing has not started, we cancel the order and issue a refund.

Orders already shipped

Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled. If you no longer want the item after it arrives, please follow our Refund & Returns Policy to see if it qualifies for a return.

Refunds after cancellation

Approved cancellations are refunded to the original Stripe payment method used at checkout. Refunds are processed within 14 business days after approval. The time it takes for the funds to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card provider.

Librivos is an online-only bookstore based in the United States. Orders move into processing shortly after payment is confirmed, and books are prepared for shipment quickly. Because of this, cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible to give us the best chance of stopping the order in time.
