Payment Policy

How payments are processed on Librivos, what is accepted, and how your information is protected.

Payment overview

All payments on Librivos are processed securely during checkout by Stripe. Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider used by businesses worldwide. Your payment details are entered directly into Stripe's encrypted checkout — not stored on our servers.

Accepted payment methods

Only the following payment method is available at checkout.

Payment security

Payment authorization

Payment authorization takes place at checkout. Orders begin processing after the payment is successfully confirmed by Stripe. If authorization fails, the order is not created and no charge is captured.

Currency

All prices displayed on Librivos are in US Dollars (USD). Shipping is free within the United States. All prices displayed are final and include no additional taxes at this time. Should tax collection requirements change, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Order confirmation

After a successful payment, you receive an order confirmation email containing your order number, items purchased, total charged, and shipping address.

Failed or declined payments

If a payment is declined, please verify your card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address, or contact your card issuer to confirm the transaction is not being blocked. If the issue continues, contact Librivos customer support and we will help you complete the order.

Librivos is an independent online bookstore operating exclusively online. All purchases are completed securely through the website using Stripe. There is no in-store payment because Librivos does not operate a physical retail location.
